DIGSUM’s research group in Digital Sociology has recently appointed two new PhD students. The two PhD students are Henrik Sigurdh and Emma Östin.
Henrik holds a MSc in Sociology and will be working in the research project Cyborg Politics. In his PhD project he will be analyzing political discourses around AI and Automation. The project is funded by the Wallenberg AI, Autonomous Systems and Software Program on Humanities and Society (WASP-HS).
Emma holds a MSc in Political Science and will be studying how the internet and social media impact the conditions for politics and civil society. The project is funded by the Department of Sociology and the Swedish Research Council.
