Olle Häggström: Large language models, AI risk and AI alignment

On the 25th of May Olle Häggström, professor of Mathematical Statistics at Chalmers University of Technology, will visit Umeå University, to give a lecture on large language models, such as ChatGPT, AI risk, and AI alignment.

Olle Häggström has spent considerable time studying risks of new technologies and has published widely on this topic, including the two books Here be Dragons: Science, Technology and the Future of Humanity (2015) and Thinking Machines (2021; in Swedish).
