Two new PhD candidates in Digital Sociology appointed

DIGSUM’s research group in Digital Sociology has recently appointed two new PhD students: Agnes Liminga and Moa Broqvist.

Agnes holds an MSc in Media and Communications. In her PhD project she will be studying how civil society actors approach and relate to issues of algorithmic automation in their political engagement, as well as how they try to shape its future.

Moa holds an MSc in Ethnology and Gender Studies. In her PhD project she will be studying how Swedish feminist activists view, and act in regard to, algorithms on social media, and their role in the digital feminist discourse.

Both PhDs will be working within the research project Programmable Politics.
