Societal implications of AI – Research networking event

Thursday 9th of November 13.00-15:00 At Samvetet (SAM.B.566)

The TAIGA focus area on Critical, Ethical, Legal, and Social perspectives on AI (CELS-AI) invites any researchers with an interest in the societal implications of AI to a networking event where you can find common research interests, collaborations, or simply reach out with what you are currently working on.

Participants can present their current research or future research ideas in short (no more than 10 min) presentations. Following the presentations there will be time for discussions and networking where you can find common interests and connections to researchers across different disciplines. You can of course join without presenting your research if you prefer.

Please register to attend by e-mailing the CELS-AI focus area coordinator Markus Naarttijärvi (markus.naarttijärvi@umu.se) no later than the November 6. Include a tentative title of your presentation if you want to present. Fika will be available for registered participants.

For more information about the event, see [here].
