On the 22th of September, DIGSUM researcher Markus Naarttijärvi will be giving a talk on ”TAIGA and CELS-AI – Making sense of the word-soup that helps you do AI research as a social scientist”.

Markus Naarttijärvi is a Professor of Law at Umeå University. His research revolves around constitutional rights and rule of law, in particular the intersection of technology, security and human rights. Markus coordinates the focus area on Critical, Ethical, Legal, and Social perspectives on AI (CELS-AI) within the transdiciplinary AI research center TAIGA. He is also senior editor of DIGSUM’s open access journal The Journal of Digital Social Research.
